✦ Synopsis
The mt -istent method of electron microscopic autoradiography involves incubation of sections and emulsion on a glass slide and then stripping off the f i l m (Salpeter and Baclmnann, 1964). Unfortunately, transferal of sections and stripping of the film can be difficult. A simple technique is described here which all-collections of wrinkle free sections and an almost 100%. stripping success. My methodts are based on Kapriwa (1973). Details anitted f m this text are already w e l l covered in that excellent paper, and what is given below are modifications or additions to it.
Keybmle grids offer a safe way to m 3 ~e sections to the glass slide. Bend the Cuter rim of a clean keyhole grid u p a r d to form a m a l l handle that allaws yuu to easily pick it up with forceps. After a ribbon of thin sections is detached fnm the knife blade, raise the level of u l t r a p r m water in the boat to form a meniscus. Herd the sec-
