The theory of superfluid turbulence deals with the flows and counterflow of HeII under conditions which are usually achieved in the various applied problems. Thus this theory plays a key role in the developing of the methods of description and calculation of the standard problems whenever HeII is us

β¦ Synopsis
This paper is concerned with the problems of hydrodynamics of helium in the presence of a vortex tangle (VT). The problem of deducing the full set of equations is considered. A number of examples of the application of these equations to many problems concerning the interaction of the vortex tangle with different kinds of motion, such as linear and nonlinear sounds, heat pulses, hydrodynamics fluctuations etc., are represented. Attention is paid mainly to the connection between hydrodynamics effects and the vortex tangle properties.

A recent hydrodynamic theory of superfluid turbulence in He II developed by the author is applied to the dynamics of a homogeneous vortex tangle. The theory contains five unknown macroscopic coefficients. These coefficients are determined by relating equations of the hydrodynamic theory to similar e
