✦ Synopsis

The hydrodynamic response of confined magnetic structures to strong heating perturbations is investigated by means of a timedependent one-dimensional code which incorporates the energy, momentum and mass conservation equations. The entire atmospheric structure from the chromosphere to the corona is taken into account. The results of model calculations are compared with observations of flares obtained with the X-Ray Polychromator experiment on the Solar Maximum Mission.

The main objective of the present paper is to propose a new model of the hydrodynamics in an air-lift internal loop reactor. The model is based on one-dimensional (I D) two-fluid mass and momentum balances. It requires closure relations for the slip velocity of the gas bubbles and both friction fact

## Abstract A three‐dimensional, numerical free‐surface‐flow simulation model is developed to investigate hydrodynamics of a lake and the predictive capabilities of the numerical model are validated by comparing them with field results obtained from Lake Naini, Uttar Pradesh, using environmental is
