## Abstract Based on a study of the gas holdโup data for stirred tank reactor generated in the present work and the data available in the literature for large stirred tank reactors (__T__ = 0.57 m to 2.7 m) equipped with disc turbines and pitched blade downflow turbines a correlation is presented w
