✦ Synopsis
An integral method is used to obtain a closed form expression for the determination of hydrodynamic entrance length for falling liquid films emerging from a flat slit and flowing in laminar flow along an inclined flat plate. The results obtained from the present analysis are compared with the experimental data and numerical solutions and found to be in good agreement with them.
