✦ Synopsis

In all 24 hydrological stations were made, the greatest part of which are found in the region of the strait of ,,Dm. Laptev" and in the portions near to the delta of the Lena. The region we visited was hardly taken notice of by the former expeditions.

Thanks to the strong freshening of the waters, due to the mighty Siberian rivers Lena and Yana, this region differs in its physico-geographic situation from other regions of this sea.
