THE paticnt, a male of 70 ycars, was referred t o mc with the following history : Colicky p i n s in the abdomen, flatulence, constipation, 'tarry' and blood-stained stool, attacks of vomiting, and shortness of breath, for the last six nionths. The attacks of vomiting, colic, and constipation have b
