✦ Synopsis

A method for the hybrid computer solw~ion of a large class of P.D.E. 's, using a Laplacemodified Galerkin approximation, is presented. Hybrid implementation of the proposed method is discussed in detail° Using this method, a number of linear and nonlinear problems are solved. The hybrid sol~%ion is compared with the exact and~or all digital solutio~ and features such as accuracy, efficiency, generality, and e~e of me are discussed. It is concluded that the proposed method is quite viable.
