β¦ Synopsis
We investigate the effect of the compact Hilbert space associated to the spin degree of freedom on the Husimi distributions of a spin-boson system (maser model).
In the classical limit, the phase space associated to such a degree of freedom is limited to a circle of radius fi (J being the total spin). Therefore for high enough energies the classical trajectories exhibit many self crossings and cusps. In this work we show that such characteristic behavior is also reflected in the corresponding quantum regime. Marked intensity enhancements are found.
