The significance of IgG antibody levels determined by a binding assay (ELISA) was investigated as a surrogate marker for the presence of neutralizing and hemagglutination inhibiting antibodies in sera from individuals vaccinated against tick-borne encephalitis (TBE). To assess the extent of interfer
