## Abstract Recent advances in the isolation, expansion, and characterization of human mesenchymal stem cells (hMSCs) have raised the possibility of using them in cell therapies and tissue engineering for bone reconstruction. hMSCs, isolated from the bone marrow of eight normal adult patients, were
