Ninetecn discrete proteins contained in normal human pancreatic juice were separated by twodimensional isoelectric focusing/SDS gel electrophoresis. Enzyme or proenzyme activity was assigned to 15 of these proteins. Analysis of pancreatic juice obtained from a patient with pancreatic cancer showed a number of additional proteins not observed in pancreatic juice obtained from normals.
