By in situ FTIR ATR measurements, the antibody (AB) recognition of human tumor necrosis factor-a (TNFa) immobilized on the Ge surface of a multiple internal reflection element (MIRE) was investigated. The experiments were performed in aqueous environment in a flow-through cell. After immobilization
