Comments From Other Readers
βI absolutely loved this book! The advice in it is practical and it really helped me to get started on my own garden. I live in an apartment and the yard space is non-existent. I hardly even have grass! I did get permission to put up my own vertical garden though as long as I didnβt drill into the building I built an easy a-frame design and itβs already starting to grow. The management liked the idea and the look of it so much they are considering adding some with flowers to the from office as well as adding some vegetable ones along the back fence for residents that are willing to help out. I never imagined something so simple could start something so amazing! I know it will take some time to get everything just right but I canβt wait to have my garden fully producing!β -Emily (Missouri, USA)
βI loved to garden when I was younger but after three children and practically a lifetime of working on my feet, the bending and stooping is just too much for me anymore. My husband and I retired a few years ago and moved into a small condo. I was hesitant to give up my little garden space at home but it was just too much for us to care for anymore! My daughter-in-law bought me this little book and I was tickled pink! I had the boys come over and help my husband up it all up. He had a great time putting this all together. We tacked it up on our lanai so it will have all the fresh air Florida has to offer. Iβll have to water it but it gets a good bit of sun every day. Iβm so happy that I can have my fresh vegetables again and a little piece of gardening beauty! The book was easy to follow and I loved the ideas that it gave me. Maybe Iβll add a few more next year.β - Margaret (Florida, USA)
