β¦ Synopsis
facilitates a product that has properties similar to those of natural rubber, with a cis-content of over 96%, a relative molecular mass distribution index less than 3, and a Mooney viscosity of 70-90. As yet there are no commercial producers of isoprene rubber in China. Consumption of rubber in China has risen to over 3 M tonne/y, but natural rubber output in the country is just above 500,000 tonne/y. Imports of both synthetic and natural rubber have risen to over 1 M tonne/y.
