Ce n’était vraiment pas son jour. À la fin d’une journée de travail en plein cœur des Cévennes, Léa, jeune photographe animalière, tombe en panne de voiture sur une route de montagne sinueuse et peu fréquentée. Elle est soulagée quand un homme finit par passer et s’arrêter pour l’emmener. Malheureusement, lorsqu’un projectile frappe la voiture, Marc, par réflexe, fait un écart et c’est la chute. Léa et Marc se retrouvent pris au piège en contrebas de la route, dans la forêt, prisonniers dans la voiture, sans eau, sans nourriture, sans téléphone.
