## Addition of trimethylphosphine to a rapidly dehydrated copper Y zeolite resulted in the immediate reduction of the copper to the univalent oxidation state. After a brief evacuation, addition of oxygen caused the instantaneous oxidation of the &(I) ions and the complexing ligands. It is proposed t
