The 8th in the Hoodsman series. By 1075, England has been so murderously conquered that there is only one English Earl remaining, Waltheof, and one English Bishop, Wulfstan. Stupidly Waltheof agrees to a Revolt of Earls against the Conqueror. In a panic he sends for Hereward and Raynar to come and protect the folk from another Harrowing.
