โฆ Synopsis
Charge recombination dynamics of photogenerated ionic species in poly(N-vinylcarbazole) films doped with an electron acceptor was investigated by transient absorption spectroscopy in the microsecond to millisecond time region. The absorption decay was independent of the concentration of the ionic species and approximately obeys a t -~/2 time dependence. The observed recombination process was well interpreted in terms of hole diffusion-controlled geminate recombination process.
