Abstract
The resistivity of single crystals of chromium has been investigated in the temperature range 300 to 2000 Β°K. Anomalous behaviour above 1300 Β°K is reported and this is attributed to an electronic rearrangement taking place which affects the relative positions of the Fermi level and the minimum in the density of states curve for the dβband.
