Typical materials moulded are explosive decompression resistant Elast-O-Lion hydrogenated nitriles and fluoroelastomers as well as a variety of other fluorocarbon grades, fluorosilicones and specialist compounds. Many of the seals are used in high integrity equipment for oil production and exploration, chemical plants, nuclear plants and the semiconductor industrys. With the new presses the company has also perfected a process for bonding Elast-O-Lion to metal components.
