This paper presents the results of the investigations on electrical conductivity and thermoelectric power of \(\mathrm{YBa}_{2} \mathrm{Cu}_{3} \mathrm{O}_{7-y}\) as a function of temperature ( \(680-1170 \mathrm{~K}\) ) and oxygen pressure ( \(10^{5}-30 \mathrm{~Pa}\) ) at thermodynamic equilibrium

The quaternary phase relations near YBa2Cu306+ x were investigated using a solid-state ionic technique. Three invariant reactions were discovered. At 850°C, YBa2Cu306+ x with excess Cu, O reacts to form Y2BaC'uO5 and BaCu202 at lxl0 "3 arm oxygen , while pure YBa2Cu306+ x decomposes to Y2"~CuO5, BaC
