Abstract
Viscosity measurements at a rate of shear between 10^4^ and 5 X 10^5^ sec^β1^ were carried out with solutions of bovine fibrinogen (c = 8.0β18.4 mg/ml). The degree of anisotropy of the fibrinogen molecule estimated from the data is less than expected for Hall and Slayter's molecular model of fibrinogen. A tentative interpretation is offered in terms of KΓΆppel's model of fibrinogen.
