The near-infrared emission spectra of the X 2 2 ⌸ 3/2 3 X 1 2 ⌸ 1/2 fine structure transitions of PbF and PbCl have been investigated by high-resolution Fourier-transform spectrometry. Despite the large fine structure splitting, the bands can be equally well analyzed with Hund's case (a) or case (c)

✦ Synopsis
The near-infrared emission spectra of the (X_{2}{ }^{2} \Pi_{1 / 2} \rightarrow X_{1}{ }^{2} \Pi_{3 / 2}) fine-structure transitions of ({ }^{130} \mathrm{TeF}) and ({ }^{130} \mathrm{Te}{ }^{35} \mathrm{Cl}) have been investigated by high-resolution Fourier-transform spectrometry. The radicals were generated and excited in a fast-flow system by reaction of (\mathrm{TeH} / \mathrm{TeH}{2}) with (\mathrm{F}{2}) or (\mathrm{Cl}{2}). Analyses of the spectra have yielded the first accurate molecular constants for the ({ }^{2} \Pi{i}, v) (=0) ground state of both molecules. (1) 1995 Academic Press, Inc.

The data set spans the vibrational states v = 0-7 and includes X(2)(2)Pi(1/2) <-- X(1)(2)Pi(3/2) fine-structure transitions. The d
Observations of the rotational spectrum of BrO have been extended to include vibrational levels up to v ϭ 8 in the X 1 2 ⌸ 3/ 2 and v ϭ 7 in the X 2 2 ⌸ 1/ 2 states. The rotational spectra of isotopically enriched Br 18 O, X 1 , v ϭ 0, 1 and X 2 , v ϭ 0 have been observed as well. The spectra of all
