✦ Synopsis
In a molecular-beam laser-induced fIuorescence experiment on SH, the hyperfine and spin-rotation structure in the A++ _1/z, u = 0 state has been determined. From Iinewidth measurements. a rotationally dependent predissociation is shown to be present. A natural Lifetime of 3.2 k 0.3 ns is obtained for N = 0.

The A 2 -X 2 + (0,0) band of ZrN between 5620 and 5890 A has been studied using laser polarization, laser-induced fluorescence, and wavelength-resolved fluorescence spectroscopy. All the 12 branches expected from a 2 -2 + transition have been observed and assigned. Both nondegenerate and degenerate
The energy transfer reaction of metastable N2(a lI-Ig, v') prepared by a dc discharge of high-purity nitrogen with CO(X 1E, v" = 0) was investigated by measuring the vacuum ultraviolet emission spectra of the electronically excited species CO(A 11-1, v') and NE(a lIIg, v') during the collision perio
