The high-resolution transient infrared spectrum of X 2 P CCl near 12.2 mm was measured by diode laser absorption spectroscopy following 193 nm excimer laser photolysis of CHClBr 2 . Many lines in the £ Å 1-0, 2 R 1, 3-2, 4-3, and 5-4 bands for C 35 Cl were identified in addition to lines in the firs

✦ Synopsis
High resolution infrared spectra of the n 5 and n 10 bands of C 2 F 6 in a supersonic jet have been measured using a diode laser spectrometer. The well resolved vibration-rotation lines of these two bands were obtained. The spectra were analyzed using a standard Hamiltonian for a prolate symmetric rotor, and the precise band centers and molecular constants of this molecule have been determined.

The diode-laser absorption spectrum of the 19a band of the chlorobenzene molecule cooled in a supersonic jet is presented and transitions from low J, K a , and K c values (0 -14) are reported. The C 6 H 5 35 Cl band center has been found at 0 ϭ 1483.894 cm Ϫ1 and rotational constants for the upper s
The diode laser absorption spectrum of the nu(13) band of benzene cooled in a supersonic expansion has been recorded with the help of a multipass optical system built inside the vacuum chamber. Transitions from low J, K values (0-10) are reported for the first time for this band. The observed freque
High-resolution infrared spectra of the 6 (713 cm Ϫ1 ) band region of C 2 F 6 vapor have been recorded at several temperatures. Spectra at 77, 200, and 300 K were recorded using a Fourier transform spectrometer with unapodized resolutions of 0.0018 cm Ϫ1 (200 and 300 K) and 0.008 cm Ϫ1 (77 K). Spect
The rotationally resolved spectra of the van der Waals complexes Ne-N 2 O, Kr-N 2 O, and Xe-N 2 O have been investigated in the region of the n 3 N 2 O monomer vibrational band using a diode laser absorption spectrometer that is incorporated with a multipass cell and a pulsed jet. The spectra of the
