โœฆ Synopsis

The high-resolution infrared emission spectra of gas-phase barium monofluoride have been observed by Fourier transform spectrometry. Vibration-rotation bands were analyzed for the three most abundant isotopomers (\left({ }^{138} \mathrm{BaF}\right.), from 1-0 to 12-11: ({ }^{137} \mathrm{BaF}), from 1-0 to (5-4 ;{ }^{136} \mathrm{BaF}), from 1-0 to 4-3) of the ground (X^{2} \Sigma^{+})state. The Dunham coefficients, (Y_{l m}), have been derived for all three isotopomers by fitting about 1750 lines for ({ }^{138} \mathrm{BaF}), about 270 lines for ({ }^{1.77} \mathrm{BaF}), and about 70 lines for ({ }^{136} \mathrm{BaF}) to the traditional Dunham model. In addition, the mass-reduced Dunham constants. (U_{l m}), have been calculated from a global least-squares fit. (ci) 1995 Academic Press. Inc

The high-resolution infrared spectrum of gas-phase SrF was obtained in emission with a Fourier transform spectrometer. Approximately 1400 rotational lines from the 1 -0 to the 8 -7 bands were measured in the X 2 S / ground state of the major isotopomer, 88 SrF. The Dunham coefficients Y l,m have bee

The high resolution Fourier transform far infrared spectrum of the torsion rotation band of CH 3 OD has been recorded in the range 20-350 cm 01 at a resolution of 0.002 cm 01 . The spectrum shows splitting of the lines due to strong torsional, rotational, and vibrational interactions in the molecule
