## Abstract The effects of different processes of hydrogenation, thermal treatment and ion irradiation of hydrogenated polycrystalline diamond surface have been investigated by means of high resolution electron energy loss spectroscopy (HR‐EELS). Analysis of the different contributions in the CH st
