A column density of Cl0 of 3.7 X IO" cm-' has been obtained in a dische\_e flow reactor. Under these conditions the W absorption of the (A =Ii--X =II) system of Cl0 1x6 studied up to the (1,O) band at 3125 nm. The temperature profiles in the cell were measured and the temperature effect was taken in
