โœฆ Synopsis

Straight and reverse-phase high-pressure liquid chromatography systems capable of separating a wide range of retinoids includingcis-and trans-isomers have been developed. The advantages of these techniques include rapid separation, quantitative recovery. elimination of artifact production during chromatography, and high sensitivity. Detection of 1 ng of retinoic acid was achieved with these methods.

A rapid and specific high-pressure liquid chromatographic (HPLC) assay was developed for the simultaneous determination of amoxicillin and its pencilloic acid metabolite in urine. The two compounds, assayed directly in urine or after dilution with water-methanol (85:15), are separated by reversed-ph
