✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A wavelength conversion scheme based on nonlinear polarization rotation (NPR) assisted with red‐shifted filtering is presented at the rate of 20 Gbit/s by simulation and experiment. Simulated analyses and experimental results show that high performance wavelength conversion based on NPR can be achieved using a red‐shifted filtering scheme. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
