## Abstract The citrate based anticoagulant ACD is commonly used in apheresis procedures. Due to its ability to decrease ionized calcium, citrate may cause unpleasant symptoms, such as paresthesias and muscle cramps, in patients undergoing therapeutic and donor apheresis. We noticed that patients w
