Twenty levamisole-treated and 14 placebotreated lung eancer patients were studied sequentially in assays of lymphocyte proliferation. Prior to treatment, the patients as a group had significantly depressed proliferative responses to mitogens and allogeneic cells (MLC), and this immunosuppression was
