✦ Synopsis

At Wrociaw high magnetic fields have been produced

since the late 1960s. At present there are several magnets for stationary fields and one magnet for pulsed fields. The biggest, Bitter-type magnet generates magnetic fields up to 20T, total power exceeds 6.0 MW.

Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL) is the home institution of the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory Pulsed-Field Facility (NHMFL-PFF). NHMFL-PFF is the only pulsed-field facility in the US (among a few worldwide) to host qualified users whilst running a strong in-house science program on hi
