Specific beat me~u~ments for Fe(phy)\*~~O~)~ and Fe(pby)\*(BF~)~ are reported in the spin transition region. A maximum in C, is observed at & due to the &t-order character of the spin-state transition. The value of C,, for high-spin states is greater than that for low-spin states. The derived values
