Graco's new ProMix TM electronic p r o p o r t i o n e r accurately proportions, mixes and applies two c o m p o n e n t coatings, including solvent or waterborne primers, topcoats and lacquers. The system features an easy to use icon-driven display panel t h a t r e q u i r e s no special o p e r a t o r skills or training. Complete online diagnostics provide fast, a c c u r a t e indiction of m i x i n g and spraying conditions.
The ProMix system delivers on-ratio material by maintaining pre-defined mix ratio's within the selected t o l e r a n c e range. Depending on the application needs this t o l e r a n c e can be adjusted to _+ 1%. If an off-ratio condition occurs, an alarm is activated and the system automatically shuts down, preventing the application of off-ratio material. Ratio's can range from 1:1 to 20:1. The system handles material pressures up to 276 bar.
The air-driven system provides intrinsically safe operat i o n a n d c a n e a s i l y b e integrated into the custom engineered application.
