The U-3010 UV/Visible speetrophotometer by Hitachi Scientific Instruments is now fully automated due to the addition of control facilities for autosampling devices, using UV Solutions software. UV Solutions is a 32-bit program which allows analysis methods for photometry, wavelength scanning and time scanning to be set up for quantitative and qualitative analyses and kinetics studies. The latest version offers support for a sample sipper, AS-3000 intelligent autosampler and a 6 cell positioner, allowing automated analytical methods to be developed and saved. Many analyses can be carried out unattended. Results can be transferred instantly into Excel for further processing.
