## Abstract Polyacrolein (**1**) was transformed into poly(allyl alcohol) (**2**), poly[1,1‐bis(hydroxymethyl)ethylene] (**5**) and __N__‐substituted poly(vinylmethanimine)s **8, 9a–c** and **10**. By subsequent reactions on these polymers reactive carriers with isothiocyanato‐, diazo‐, and azido g
