✦ Synopsis

1-Alkyl-2-thiobiureas on reaction with a-haloketones such as p-methoxyphenacyl bromide, p-methylphenacyl bromide, p-chlorophenacyl bromide and phenacyl bromide, were found to afford semicarbazonothiazolines in good yields.
