✦ Synopsis


The present specimen is chiefly remarkable for the large size attained by the tumour whilst remaining circumscribed. T h e specimen weighed 46f;o g. This appears to be a record.

Prognosis as regards prolonged survival is fair. Geschickter found 1 1 cases of sarcoma secondary to fibro-adenoma in a series of mammary sarcomata.

Of these 3 remained well and 8 died. Death was generally due to pulmonary metastases.
