✦ Synopsis
We present the exact formula for multiplication by a polynomial of degree one. The obtained results are applied in solving a second-order linear equation of Hermite's type on time scales.

In the paper the Ważewski's method, which is well-known for ordinary differential equations, is developed for a system of dynamic equations on an arbitrary time scale. Sufficient conditions guaranteeing the existence of at least one solution with a graph staying in a previously defined open set are
Consider the following equation: where t is in a measure chain. We apply the theory of measure chains to investigate the oscillation and nonoscillation of the above equation on the basis of some well-known results. And in some sense, we show a method to unify the delay differential equation and del
A time scale version of Ostrowski's inequality is given as follows: Let f, g ∈ C r d ([a, b], R) be two linearly independent functions, then for any α ∈ [-1, 1] and any arbitrary
