## Abstract Cholesterol feeding has been often used to study the etiology of hypercholesterolaemia‐related metabolic disturbances. The aim of the present study is to investigate the effects of a pentacyclic triterpene, lupeol, and its ester derivative on hepatic abnormalities associated with hyperc
