He was graduated from the State University of Iowa in 1895, receiving the B.S. degree. He served as Fellow in Chemistry and Assistant in the Chemical Laboratory at his Alma Mater while studying for the M.Sc. degree, which was conferred in 1897. As Lecturer in Inorganic Chemistry and Director of the Chemical Laboratory, College of Physicians and Surgeons, Keokuk, Iowa, he had his initial contacts with the field of medicine during the academic year, 1897. He matriculated at the Jefferson Medical College in 1898, gaining the M.D. degree in 1901. During the progress of his medical course he assisted in the Laboratory of Histology. Following his graduation, Dr. Radasch served as Assistant Demonstrator of Anatomy and Demonstrator of Visceral Anatomy in addition to his duties in the histology laboratory. He became Assistant Professor of Histology and Embryology in 1911. During the academic year 1912-1913, he was Acting Director of the Daniel Baugh Institute of Anatomy. He was advanced to an Associate Professorship in Histology and Embryology in 1918 and to a full professorship in 1921. Having reached the age of retirement Dr. Radasch relinquished his teaching responsibilities in 1942, and in recognition of his devoted and valued service the Board of Trustees of the Jefferson Medical College appointed him Emeritus Professor of Histology and Embryology.
