Abstract
A 14 year old girl presented with acute urinary retention. Ultrasonography made an important contribution in the diagnosis of hematocolpos. This is the first case reported in the literature.

## Abstract A case of placental chorioangioma is reported. To our knowledge, this is the first case diagnosed prenatally by ultrasonography. The complications of chorioangiomas include hydramnios, antepartum hemorrhage and premature labor, fetal demise, low birth weight and toxemia.
