✦ Synopsis


Abstract

The variations in the distribution of hemopoietic stem cells in fetal tissues are concomitant with changes in the electrophoretic pattern of hemoglobin. The data presented here are consistent with the hypothesis that the embryonic stem cells can be transformed into adult stem cells in the liver of 15 to 16 days old fetuses.
