White aramid packing avoids causing discoloration

Nippon Pillar Packing has introduced a white aramid fiber packing that is particularly intended for rotary applications.

The 4536WL packing is suitable for use on fluids easily damaged by color tone. It is claimed to have good long-term stability with less leakage and heat generation. The construction is designed to provide good restorability to minimize leakage. Key applications are considered to be in the paper-making and chemical industries.
