The growing European revival of interest in Hegel in the last few decades seems recently to have poured over into America, where we are presently experiencing a Hegel renaissance of significant proportions. The initial thrust of this movement was first revealed at the Wofford Symposium on Hegel and the Philosophy of Religion (November, I968), the published proceedings of which are reviewed in this issue. The Symposium was international in character, and the first of such scope to be held in this country since the activities of the St. Louis Hegelians a century ago.
