✦ Synopsis

A discussion of electron-phonon effects in heavy fermion systems is presented. The temperature and magnetic field dependence of elastic constants in the normal and superconducting state is discussed. The superconducting B T phase diagrams are shown for different substances. The Griineisen parameters as the important electron phonon coupling constants in the different phases are given and discussed.
