โฆ Synopsis
A new generation of the Universal pd pump has been introduced by Waukesha Cherry-Burrell.
The Universal II line of pumps offers a rotor/shaft connection that is completely sealed from the product zone for optimum sanitary conditions. The pump features mechanical seals as standard with O-ring seals optional as well as several options such as a free draining body and cover and 316L pump body.
Designed for long service life, the Universal II pump design includes a heavy-duty bearing frame, larger diameter shafts in the seal area for greater strength and stiffness and double tapered roller bearings to enable precise rotor movement and longer seal life.
Waukesha Fluid Handling and Cherry-Burrell Process Equipment, both United Dominion companies, were recently consolidated into one company, headquartered in Delavan, WI. The company manufactures equipment for a variety of markets including the food, dairy, chemical, pharmaceutical and paper industries.
