✍ D.A Robins; I Jenkins 📂 Article 📅 1955 🏛 Elsevier Science ⚖ 854 KB

A method is described for determining the heats of formation of highly stable metal silicides and data are given for the following compounds:-Ti& TiSi, TiSiz, Zr&, ZrSi, ZrSiz, ThSiz, V&i, Ta&, TaSi,, MoSiz, and WSi2. The highest heats of formation are those of compounds containing Group IVa metals

Heats of formation of solid AuCu alloys
✍ R.L Orr 📂 Article 📅 1960 🏛 Elsevier Science ⚖ 572 KB

## Heats of formation have been measured by liquid tin solution calorimetry for a complete series of Au-Cu alloys in equilibrium states at 720°K and for the same alloys at 320°K after rapid quenching from 873°K. The asymmetry in the heat of formation curve at 720°K is in accord with observations
